Hectare construction specializes in building composite structure systems that combine precast concrete and steel. The company is active across Quebec and Ontario. It is also a distributor of Stubbe’s precast concrete products in Quebec and serves as contractor for residential real estate projects carried out by its sister company, Hectare Immobilier.

The person hired will carry out some administrative and financial tasks and act as a property management assistant.

In addition to providing outstanding customer support, the ideal candidate is versatile, independent, detail-oriented, and organized.

Main responsibilities

  • Supporting the property manager with administrative tasks related to property management.
  • Maintain and update information about tenants, units, parking spaces, and storage spaces available for rent.
  • Oversee the annual COI collection process.
  • Produce monthly rental invoices and other fees payable by tenants.
  • Ensure follow-ups with tenants to collect accounts receivable.
  • Help with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, seizures, and management of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Forward voicemails and emails related to property management activities.
  • Manage mail and package deliveries.

Abilities

  • Training in secretarial work/accounting/office automation or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Acomba (Construction Suite) and Hopem, major assets.
