Hectare construction is a company that acts as a contractor in large-scale residential and commercial construction projects.
Our team consists of highly skilled individuals who are driven by the desire to excel and employ innovative techniques.
We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a strong team spirit to fill the position of Assistant Project Manager – Construction.
Main responsibilities
- Assist the project manager and superintendent in the management and coordination of projects from project initiation to closure
- Prepare and manage bids and contracts with subcontractors
- Request quotes and order materials
- Manage workshop drawings
- Coordinate subcontractor deliveries to ensure timely delivery
- Control all administrative aspects of change requests, their processing, and their impacts
- Ensure document and administrative management of projects (collecting required documents, tracking correspondence, managing communications and emails)
- Monitor changes, directives, extras, and document them
Abilities
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication
- Strong abilities in management, planning, and organizational work
- Ability to act quickly and efficiently
- Motivated and mobilizing mindset
- An ability to anticipate events
- Proficiency in the Office suite
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software would be an asset
