Hectare construction is a company that acts as a contractor in large-scale residential and commercial construction projects.

Our team consists of highly skilled individuals who are driven by the desire to excel and employ innovative techniques.

We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a strong team spirit to fill the position of Assistant Project Manager – Construction.

Main responsibilities

  • Assist the project manager and superintendent in the management and coordination of projects from project initiation to closure
  • Prepare and manage bids and contracts with subcontractors
  • Request quotes and order materials
  • Manage workshop drawings
  • Coordinate subcontractor deliveries to ensure timely delivery
  • Control all administrative aspects of change requests, their processing, and their impacts
  • Ensure document and administrative management of projects (collecting required documents, tracking correspondence, managing communications and emails)
  • Monitor changes, directives, extras, and document them

Abilities

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication
  • Strong abilities in management, planning, and organizational work
  • Ability to act quickly and efficiently
  • Motivated and mobilizing mindset
  • An ability to anticipate events
  • Proficiency in the Office suite
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software would be an asset
